Driving Toward a Healthy Future

Central Illinois Foodbank recently received a $50,000 grant from the Morgan Stanley Foundation to purchase equipment for a new produce delivery program. In conjunction with this grant, Isringhausen Imports donated a pre-owned van. The vehicle has been retrofitted with refrigeration capabilities to keep perishable goods at optimal temperature to ensure maximum freshness.

The Foodbank plans to use this new program to work with schools and other organizations to help provide more access to fresh produce and other healthy foods in the community.
