The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the first line of defense against hunger in our communities. SNAP, sometimes known as the EBT card, helps thousands of families with low income across Illinois to put food on the table.

Two-thirds of people who receive SNAP are families with children, seniors, or people living with disabilities. SNAP is key to allowing these individuals to stretch their food dollar and to have access to healthier foods.

Central Illinois Foodbank is working with our community leaders to ensure that SNAP benefits are available when our neighbors need them. We need your help to make sure that this program is strong so that no one is left hungry in Illinois.
